Meet Me Upstairs is a free, weekly dance party held Fridays within the heavens (aka the Upstairs Lounge) at Schubas from 9pm to 1am. Every week features a different DJ, showcasing the breadth of unique DJing styles that define Chicago’s dance music scene.

Zeetus Lapetus is a Chicago based entertainer. They take many inspirations from disco music, Sci-Fi films, 90’s/00/ anime, Chicago House music and Disney channel original movies like “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”. They host a radio show “Blast Off with Zeetus Lapetus” on Beloved Radio, a talk show “Enjoy the Shō” on Youtube, and a traveling karaoke show titled “Zeetus Lapetus 21st Century Karaoke”. They are also one of the founders of the iconic Fortune dance party here in Chicago. They have been described by the Chicago Reader as an “Intergalactic Funk DJ” and they are nominated for Best House DJ ! Zeetus emits an energetic, fun energy every time they spin music for a crowd and they are excited to be playing fun music for the MMU crowd
