All tickets are will-call, which is to say that there are no physical tickets- your name will be on a list at the door. Online tickets sales stop at 5:00 PM day-of-show and any remaining tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the door. You should receive an email confirmation of your ticket purchase. If you did not, you can contact confirm@schubas.com to confirm your ticket. Please bring valid photo ID for proof of age and ticket purchase.

Advance tickets guarantee entry to the show.

All tickets are general admission only unless noted otherwise and DO NOT guarantee seating.
For the best seats/position in the music room please arrive 30 minutes prior to show time to pick-up your tickets.
A non-refundable ticket service charge will be added to the purchase price of each ticket.

All Tickets purchased through this site are NON-TRANSFERABLE

All Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE

Advance tickets are only available through our website (until 5 pm day of show) and outside ticket vendors when noted. Schubas does not have a physical box office. Walk-up ticket purchases are only available at Schubas beginning one half-hour before listed show time unless the show is sold out.

All Shows are 21 and over, unless otherwise noted.

The website lists showtime, not doors. Unless noted otherwise, doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Expect the first artist to start at showtime, give or take a few minutes.

Unfortunately, the only way you can make a ticket transfer is to have your friend or friends show up at the doors on the night of the show with your email confirmation and an original/physical state issued form of the ticket buyers ID. No photocopies of the forms of ID will be accepted. They must be the original copies. If these guidelines cannot be followed, no transfer will be allowed. Acceptable forms of ID include drivers license, state ID, or passport.

You must first send a sample of your music to demos@schubas.com. Please be patient in awaiting a response. Please check our Booking section for more info.

We offer unpaid (with perks!) internships in our music department and are more than happy to work with your institute of higher learning to provide college credit. Please email internships@schubas.com with internship inquiries.

The Schubas Street Team is an elite group of dedicated individuals who help us publicize upcoming shows throughout Chicago in exchange for tickets, drinks, food, and more. To join their ranks, please email streetteam@schubas.com.

You are allowed to bring camera phones and handhelds, but professional cameras are not allowed without a photo pass. Our photography and taping policies are dictated by the policies of the bands playing the show in question, so this is subject to change.

Our shows are 21+ unless otherwise noted. We do have plenty of 18+ and All Ages shows, though. If you are under the age limit and would like to attend a show, you must attend with a parent or legal guardian.

We highly recommend the following hotels:
– Hotel Versey [30% discount]
The City Suites [20% discount]
– CAA
– Ace Hotel
– The Robey

Staying near Wicker Park? Holiday Jones and Urban Holiday Lofts are great, affordable hostel options!

The building that houses Schubas is a brick and masonry neo-Gothic treasure that's been a Lakeview neighborhood landmark for over 100 years. Built in 1903 as part of a project undertaken by the Schlitz Brewery, the building was one of hundreds erected at the turn of the century.  Often known as "Tied Houses", Schubas remains one of a handful of these elegant buildings still operating as a saloon.  Schubas Tavern happens to also have the reputation as one of the best small music venues in the country.  By pulling together all of the elements of excellent sound, intimate environs, and a music-centric atmosphere, Schubas has become a legendary room.  Offering live music nightly from a variety of acts -- rock, folk, country, funk, and more -- the bands range in quality and stature, from up-and-coming local acts with strong followings, to nationally known acts loyal to Schubas for help on the way up. The room is small enough to ensure fans are never far from the action on the raised stage, and the audience format can be extremely intimate depending on the music style and the draw.
Located at 2424 N Lincoln Avenue, the building which houses Lincoln Hall first opened in 1912 as the Fullerton Theatre, a nickelodeon. Since then, the building has housed a garage and machine shop, the Crest Theatre and, most recently, the 3 Penny Cinema. In 1934, FBI sharpshooters were stationed atop what is now Lincoln Hall to prevent John Dillinger's escape from the Biograph Theatre across the street on the night he was killed. After 20 years as owner/operators of Schubas Tavern at 3159 N. Southport in Chicago, Mike and Chris Schuba opened Lincoln Hall in this historic building. “We’ve been looking three years for a building that would create a human-scale, intimate experience where we can put the music first,” said Chris Schuba in 2009 as he walked the dust-covered mezzanine while construction workers welded, sawed and hammered around him.
