Meet Me Upstairs is a free, weekly dance party held Fridays within the heavens (aka the Upstairs Lounge) at Schubas from 9pm to 1am. Every week features a different DJ, showcasing the breadth of unique DJing styles that define Chicago’s dance music scene.

Hailing from Chicago, beat maker, rapper, and most importantly DJ, Hameedullah takes and blends from his disciplines to create and curate DJ sets only natural to the artist. Listeners can expect to hear the many genres Hameedullah samples in his production as well as electronic and house music of today. When Hameedullah isn’t behind the decks, he’s producing and self releasing his music for his newly founded label Lunt and Oglesby.

Whether spinning tracks at a venue or for a radio set, Chicago DJ/producer, ted dB always proposes a refreshed mix of keyboard heavy, up tempo melody leading tunes, spanning across various genres typically in the range of new or old school house, soul, drum & bass, jazz, techno and world music! When ted dB isn’t working on his own solo projects, he enjoys teaching friends how to DJ and likes to organize open format showcase events that promote new and emerging Chicago based audio and visual artists.
