Music affects each of us individually, & the emotions we associate with a song are determined by our specific history. Karaoke Storytellers takes a closer look into those personal histories with music, and lends a microphone to those who have a story about a song.

Each show features 7 performers telling a short story about a song followed by a karaoke performance of the song. Performers include booked members of the Chicago community and one audience volunteer. The show is hosted by Jacoby Cochran (CityCast Chicago) & Connor Gorman (show’s creator).
