Explosive and passionate, Chicago-formed-band Superdime draws musical inspiration from resident grunge legends Smashing Pumpkins to current alternative stars Hotline TNT and Feeble Little Horse. Mixing a colorful combination of jangly guitar hooks and introspective vocal melodies with pounding drums and thumping bass, Superdime is tearing at the seams with raw emotion and power.

Formed in 2022, the group officially formed after a lineup change left Nolan Manke (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) and Maggie Smith (Lead Guitar) without a drummer and bassist. Calling upon longtime friends Jeremy Donofrio (Bass) and Jack Mitchell (Drums) to fill in for just one gig, the group stayed together and finalized their lineup for good. Since then, Superdime has gone from selling out homegrown DIY hotspots and house shows to playing famous Chicago venues like Metro, Subterranean, and Schubas. Part of Chicago’s abundant music scene (one that’s raised Twin Peaks, Post Animal, Friko, and Horse Girl in recent years), Superdime fronts with walloping drums and guitars, but underneath is Manke’s introspective lyrics reminding us of what it is to be human, what mistakes we’ve made, and how do we grapple with them?
