Meet Me Upstairs is a free, weekly dance party held in the Upstairs Lounge at Schubas. The event takes place on Fridays from 9pm to 1am. All are welcome.

Hailing from the home of house music, Max Wagner is a DJ, producer, and music enthusiast whose soulful beats and infectious grooves have been igniting dance floors across Chicago. Drawing from the roots of house music, he pays homage to the disco era, channels the infectious energy of hip-hop, and embraces the sultry rhythms of Latin grooves.

Max has played at iconic venues such as Spybar, Soundbar, House Calls, Prysm, Tao, and Celeste, and shared the stage with world-renown acts such as Ben Hemsley, Aluna, Max Styler, Prunk, Autograf, MUUS, and Slushii. He’s also played gigs in San Diego, Austin, Denver, and Miami.

Max has displayed his passion for building community and supporting up-and-coming artists through his creation and development of Dusk Dance Music, an event series that features local talent in unique locations, usually on rooftops during golden hour. If you’re an artist, be sure to check out DDM!
