The Lincoln Hall + Schubas Booking Internship is designed to equip a candidate with the knowledge, skills, and experience to pursue work in the realm of concert booking. This includes opportunities for contributions to Lincoln Hall and Schubas’ booking calendars and access to the entire music department staff’s knowledge and experience, including Marketing and Production heads.
Key aspects of an ideal candidate include:
- Strong familiarity with the Chicago local music scene and our venues
- Being communicative and responsive
- Effective time management
- A high level of organization
- Being very detail-oriented
- The ability to multi-task efficiently and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Comfort with sending cold emails to artists
- Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Sheets
- Interest in a variety of music genres
Expected hours per week:
6-8 hours a week including 1 day in the Schubas office.
